The March for Life

In Washington D.C., 33 years ago, Roe vs. Wade resulted in allowing abortion to be legalized in the United States. Abortion, by law was allowed to be performed during anytime of the pregnancy.
33 years later, I went to Washington D.C. to fight against this mistake made so long ago. Our pilgrimage was led by Fr. Kidwell and Fr. Willy Garcia-Tunon. We started off the time in Washington with a visit to the Holocaust Museum. For me it was a great experience because I was able to compare the mass killings in Germany during WWII and the mass killings during the present moment with abortions.
The March itself was amazing, just seeing the amount of people and the different posters that all the Pro-Lifers made was a surprise to me.
The one thing that really opened my eyes was when I fought my way into a crowd of people, who happened to be pro-choicers surrounded by pro-lifers. I just stood there in silence and tried to absorb what was around me. I would strongly recommend it to anyone that could take a few shoves and pushes.
In the end I was happy to return and have my faith opened even more and allow different experiences strengthen my connection with God. I thank Him for making it possible for me to go on that trip.

Harry  Potter

Harry Potter is the little wizard that could. I really don't take it to seriously and don't believe in not reading the books. I've actually tried reading the books but they didn't interest me. But for those that are interested in it, good for you, you spend more time reading and expanding your knowledge than just sitting in from of the T.V. watching junk. The only thing that you need to remember it that its just a story. Same way as Angels and Demons by Dan Brown is just a story. I have read it and think its an amazing tale but i don't take it word for word. I look at it as a piece of entertainment not fact. You should keep that view into perspective, too.
